May 15-16, 2008: Chocolate Beetroot Brownies

Chocolate beetroot brownies

150g butter, softened
150g brownish sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
3/4 teaspoon dry reason nutmeg
165g evidently flour
6 eggs
135g nighttime chocolate, melted
150g dry reason almonds
170g raw beetroot, finely grated
75g extra chocolate, melted

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C. Line a baking dish alongside newspaper together with grease it well.

Cream together the butter together with sugar. Mix inward the vanilla, nutmeg together with flour. Beat inward the eggs i at a fourth dimension until good combined (I failed to practise this!).

Once the melted chocolate is at room temperature, add together it to the batter. Fold inward the dry reason almonds together with beetroot.

Spread the brownie mixture inward the baking dish together with bake it for 25-30 minutes until a skewer comes out clean.

Once the brownie has cooled, drizzle over the melted chocolate earlier slicing together with serving.
