December 13, 2008: Iii 1 2 Ii

we ate at for Michael's 28th birthday concluding twelvemonth - Three One Two. It laid upwards a high benchmark for the few vegetarian degustations we've since enjoyed, together with nosotros were both curious to sense a dissimilar seasonal twist on McConnell's food.

The repast began alongside this piddling cup, containing beetroot, fromage blanc, wide beans, dill together with fried bread. It was a cute spring-themed showtime to proceedings; the wafer-thin fried staff of life offset it alongside a fragile compaction together with savoury accent.

McConnell's beetroot salad or Wickens' garden salad did, but it was a fine calorie-free cast to maintain us appetised for the many dishes to come.

seemingly ubiquitous tofu course! Nor did this repast role foams, gels or other molecular novelties to maintain us interested. Props to McConnell for showing us the neat things that a chef, non a sorcerer or lab-coated scientist, tin plough over the sack create alongside vegetables.
